This is not a hotel or resort. It’s a quiet, self-contained stay created for uninterrupted time together.

The Machinery Shed is set within a working orchard, run by a small family. From time to time you may see Sam, Asia, or their two daughters tending to the orchard, on the tractor, or near the work sheds. Most guests experience complete privacy throughout their stay, with the occasional friendly visit from Lottie the dog being about it.

The Machinery Shed is approximately 1.5 hours’ drive from Sydney.
Is the orchard open during our stay?
The accommodation operates year-round. The orchard shop is seasonal and typically open from February to June, Saturdays only, between 10am and 4pm.
Can the property be used for weddings, elopements, or events?
No. The Machinery Shed is offered as accommodation only. As a working orchard and family-run property, hosting events would compromise the privacy, safety, and quiet experience we aim to provide for guests and the orchard itself.
Is The Machinery Shed pet friendly?
No. The Machinery Shed is not pet friendly. As a working orchard with free-ranging chickens, wildlife, and farm equipment, we’re unable to accommodate pets. Our dog Lottie also lives on the property and roams freely. This policy helps keep all animals safe and ensures a calm, low-impact environment for guests.
